sisterhood traveling journal day 1

Day 1 (290409)

4.45am - depart from my house (uder slept over at my place) to KL sentral. we took the 5.30am shuttle bus to LCCT to get the 8.20am flight to kuching, sarawak...million thanks to my younger sis sarah and my beloved daddy for having the trouble woke up in the middle of the nite..(eh..early morning lah..) to send us two..

5.15 am - arrived Kl sentral, uder bought shuttle bus ticket for two, we thought,the bus is inside the building, but due to renovations, they parked outside and we have to walk down...huhhhh starts this wacky feeling..

5.25am - the bus instructor said,they only have 1 seat left and the other seat is right beside the driver (co-driver punyer seat lah) uder was brave enough to sit there...i said to the bus instructor..."kitorg nk duduk sama2"...tapi...pakcik bas tu kata "kalau nk duduk sekali, u have to wait for the next bus" oh great...then uder said "its okay...kita naik sekarang la...awak duduk belakang...nanti saya call dari depan" ahahhaha romantik tak? saja jer buat drama di pagi hari...

6.45am - arrived LCCT, ticket counter yet to open, so we decided to get our BIG breakfast at Mckdees

7.20am - ticket counter is now open! hoyehhh! we get to checked in without any problems...our luggage within the weight limit..great..everything seems smooth..

7.45am - departure lounge, long queue...but luckily we have booked our seat earlier of course with extra charge rm5...

8.20am - yeay! we're going to kuching!! tapi after a while, both of us slept until the cabin crew announced that we're landing...ohohoho...

10.20am - kuching airport, excited! on the way to the immigration counter, there's one pakcik suddenly said "kurang ajar!" to both of us, just because we didn't see him walking through and apparently we blocked his way... uder said.."oh maybe that was not too bad for them to say to other people" oh well what everrrrr... hahahha...we just don't care lah pakcik...but we did say sorry..tak tau la dia dengar ke tak kann

10.45am - our luggage in hand..went straight to the info counter to get the map...yup..kuching map, and asked for the taxi.. the kakak said it will costs us rm22...so we went to the taxi booth to pay...suddenly kakak kat taxi booth said rm35...wahhhhhh...then i said "but the info person said its only rm22?" then the kakak said "oh yang itu counter sebelah.." hahaha boleh macam tu pulakk...

11.20am - arrived singgahsana lodge...a very nice place for backpackers...they named their rooms by the name of divisions in sarawak..batang ai..batang rejang..and i dont know ape lagi...tapi semua starts with batang lah...we waited almost an hour to get the shuttle bus to village house..while waiting, me and uder asked for permission to the person in charge to have a look at rooms that they have...it was a very cosy place to stay..oh2 they have honeymooners room too!!... loved it!

12.15noon - depart from singgahsana lodge to village house...

12.45noon - arrived village house! it was magnificent! they greet us with a big smile..thanks to laurence for the very warm welcome! we've been given orange juice as the welcoming treat and they showed us our room... they named it 'serai' village twin room...

1.45pm - dressed up and went for a swim in the 14m long swimming pool...felt like jumping all over and it was just the two of us, using the pool...hehehe..we ordered our vegetarian lunch, we had lunch and we had a great chit chat together under the shed enjoying and impressed with the architecture, and the calm environment.. it was fantastic..

4.15pm - tired and sleepy.....tido!!!!!

6.15pm - woke up and dressed up quickly to catch the sunset!! hahah we ran over to the beach and it was almost sunset..waited there till the last moment...met, vivian, one of the village house owner's good friend... chatted for a while and back to our room..

8.00pm - went for dinner at damai beach resort restaurant...laurance sent us over to the restaurant...baik kan laurance nih...oh wait till he said "that will cost u rm5" ahahaha....nahh he was joking la...

dinner time..uder talking to hmmmm...fake smile...why? sebb tengah lapar..laksa sarawak...loved it!!sarawak fried rice

9.00pm - back to village house and lepak-lepak kat TV room and we watched devil's wear prada, shakti..oh well i slept after a while, and uder still with her tv show..the nanny!..hahaha

11.45pm - balik bilik and tido.....

tv room...yup! just the two of us...
